Plugin description
The Auto Translation Pro plugin supports the multilingual display of your Shopware shop and enables you to offer your international customers an optimal shopping experience. It is an efficient solution to save time and effort when translating content.
Please note that the plugin is modular and further functions can be added via our family plugins. Detailed information on the individual functions and configuration options as well as a FAQ can be found further down on this page.

Auto Translation Pro: General questions
Below you will find a list of all fields from the plug-in configuration:
Please note: After you have made the plug-in settings, you still have to finish configuring the plug-in under "Settings / Auto Translation Pro".
Google Key: Here you can enter your Google API code so that the Google API (Google Translate) can be used as a translation service provider.
DeepL Key: Here you can enter your DeepL API code so that DeepL can be used as a translation service provider.
Set the DeepL subscription type: If you use DeepL as a translation tool, the subscription type (Pro or Free) must be stored here.
ModernMT Key: Here you can enter your ModernMT API code so that ModernMT (link here, should already exist in the Store) can be used as a translation service provider. When using ModernMT, the source language must be set and should not be set to "automatic".
Remove Shopware translation button: There is a "Google Translate" button in the translation window, which is provided by Shopware. This can be removed with this option.
Set the log level for the translation plugins:
Debug: Logs everything that is helpful in troubleshooting. Not recommended as standard, as the log can become very large very quickly.
Warning: Logs only the most important warnings.
Error: Standard option, logs only critical errors
Source language of the shop: The source language of the shop from which the translation is to be made is set here. We recommend entering the shop's source language to avoid errors with the "Automatic" setting.
Translate HTML attributes: With this setting option, you can choose whether HTML attributes should be translated. (e.g. title,alt)
HTML attributes to be translated: The HTML attributes to be translated can be entered here, separated by commas. (e.g. "title,alt")
Google Translate HTML support: With this setting, you can activate that Google Translate takes HTML content into account. With this option, you must check the result, as Google Translate does not always work reliably here.
Translate links: Setting whether to try whether there is a link in the target language for link targets. To do this, the link is called up in the background and a search is made for an hreflang attribute in the target language on the resulting page. This increases the runtime of the translation.
Smartly Template Support: DeepL Smarty Support - this can be used to inform DeepL that if the transmitted text is a Smarty template, it should be handled accordingly by DeepL.
Translation Pro Timeout: With this setting you can define the timeout after which the translation stops. Please increase this value if you have long texts or texts with many links.
Try the following steps to fix the problem:
With the "Auto Translation Pro Bulk Plugin" it is possible to carry out several translations for articles and their variants with one click. After the corresponding settings have been made, the translation process can be started via a button. The categories and the language shop to be translated can be set.

Auto Translation Pro Lexicon: Allows you to permanently enter some words into the translations yourself. To do this, the words are simply entered, provided with the corresponding translations and recalled with each translation. This ensures that important terms receive the correct translation.
Auto Translation Pro - Digital Publishing: With this plugin it is possible to translate elements of the Shopware "Digital Publishing" plugin.
Auto Translation Pro - SEO Professional: With this plugin, the fields of the "SEO Professional" plugin from Dreischild GmbH can be translated. The SEO fields of articles, categories, forms, blog articles and static pages can be translated.
Auto Translation Pro Three-sign CMS Bulk: This plugin can be used to translate the fields of the "CMS Professional" plugin from Dreischild GmbH.
The licence from Shopware 5 cannot be transferred to Shopware 6. However, if you start the migration assistant in your Shopware account, you can purchase the new plugin licence at a reduced price. (as of March 2024)
To ensure that the bulk translation process works smoothly, we recommend setting the "batch size" to 1 batch and increasing the PHP timeout on the server. If a timeout occurs, the bulk translator will abort the ongoing translation process.
To get more languages for the translation plugin, you need to install the Auto Translation Pro language pack.

After these steps, you can open the areas to be translated and click the Auto Translation Pro button to start the translation process.

No, there is currently no bulk translator available for e-mail templates and text modules. To translate an e-mail template, you must first manually empty the content of the respective template and start the translation by clicking on the globe.

Yes, you can exclude certain fields from the translation. In the settings of the Auto Translation Pro plugin, you can add the desired fields to the excluded fields.
These fields are then not taken into account in the translation. You can find this setting under "Settings / Auto Translation Pro" on the second tab "Excluded fields". There you can define any fields that are not to be translated.
No, subshops cannot be translated for technical reasons. However, language shops that belong to subshops can be translated.
No, the translation of blog entries is not possible with the Bulk plugin. However, you can use the standard Bulk plugin for this. When you open a blog entry, you will find the option to translate by clicking on the globe.

Yes. The Bulk Translator can be started via the command line. This can be used to run the translator as a CRON job in the background.
With the command: php bin/console biloba_translate_bulk:translate -help
the different options can be displayed.
The article resources are not translated, as this is currently not possible from Shopware.
No, if it has not been selected that already filled fields are translated again, the extension goes through all the articles/areas to be translated again and then checks whether they need to be translated. In the display, however, it looks as if this article/area has been translated again.
Currently, all standard elements supplied by Shopware are translated by the "More Areas Bulk" extension.
In case of foreign elements added by apps, we have to check the effort for an individual adaptation. Please contact us for this under support@biloba-it.de or via our Contact form.
There are several possible reasons:
1. the article is inactive.
2. the item is not assigned to a sales channel.
3. the article has already been entered as translated in the log table.
You could try moving an affected item to its own category, clearing the translation logfile and var/logs, and then retriggering the bulk process. In this way, more information could possibly be obtained.
A new licence is required to upgrade to Shopware 6, as the plugins have been completely redeveloped for the new version.
